Proper post-tattoo care
Updated: Jun 19
As soon as you get a tattoo, the first thing you should do is to make sure it's ready to go. It's important to take it off in a couple of steps. The first step is to make sure your skin is clean and free of oil and anything else that could be preventing the removal of the tattoo. It is always a good idea to bring your tattoo to the artist's studio for inspection if you have any questions about if it's ready or not, so that you can get it checked out.
Next, you will need to cleanse your skin so that you don’t accumulate dirt and oil on your body while you are in the studio, and they will be able to tell you whether or not it is in good enough shape to be removed. You can use a mild cleanser to get rid of all those things, and then you can wash your body with gentle bar soap to get all that stuff off. Once your skin is completely dry, then you can apply a layer of moisturizer to it.
